In 2004 Kylie and Dave Callow, parents at the Vasse Primary School  conceived  the idea of an art exhibition as a fund raiser for the P & C.

After much hard work by Kylie, Dave, Kerry Stacey- Fucile,  then P & C President, and Jane Holland , well known local artist,  the  inaugural VPS Art Exhibition was staged and it raised $13 000 for the school.

After this startlingly successful exhibition the wheels were rolling for the ensuing years.  With a team of parents who felt passionately about their school and the development of the exhibition, Kylie and Dave continued to steer the process, guiding the development of infra structure for  better hanging and the introduction of a prize to the exhibition.  (See thank you to our sponsors)
